A leading engineering recruitment firm is seeking a Field Service Engineer to carry out maintenance and repair of CNC machine tools across the UK. The role offers a competitive salary of £32,500 - £37,500, with OTE of £45,500 - £52,500 based on overtime. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years' experience and strong knowledge of CNC machinery, including OEMs. This position includes paid travel and a company car.

Field Service Engineer - CNC Machine Tools

UK-wide travel | £32,500 - £37,500 basic | £45,500 - £52,500 OTE

Role
  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repair of CNC machine tools at customer sites across the UK.
  • Provide technical support and fault-finding expertise to minimise machine downtime.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of service and professionalism.
  • Work a 37.5-hour standard week, with regular overtime available.
What’s on Offer
  • Basic salary between £32,500 - £37,500, depending on experience.
  • Realistic OTE of £45,500 - £52,500 (based on 10 hours overtime per week).
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 37.5 hours and on Saturdays, and double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
  • Paid door-to-door travel.
  • Company car (Skoda, choice of model).
About You
  • Minimum 5 years' machine tool service experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machinery; experience with specific OEMs is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
  • Confident working independently while representing the business in a customer-facing capacity.
