Overview

Field Service Engineer Marine – Location: Field-based (UK & International Travel) – Contract: Permanent, Full-time.

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer Marine to join our specialist engineering team supporting customers in the marine sector across the UK, Ireland, and internationally. As a Field Service Engineer, you will carry out diagnostics, repairs, and major overhauls of marine drive systems both on-site and in our workshop. This position involves regular travel, including weekends and extended periods away from home, working closely with customers to minimise downtime and deliver high-quality technical support.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and major overhauls of marine drive systems on-site and in the workshop.
• Travel regularly to customer sites (including weekends and extended periods away from home) to minimise downtime and provide technical support.
• Work closely with customers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality service and solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven background as a Field Service Engineer in service and engineering (Marine Engineering, Royal Navy, Merchant Navy, Shipyards, etc.).
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills (HV systems, motors, inverters, control systems).
• Willingness to travel extensively and work unsociable hours when required.
• Valid driving licence.
