A leading engineering company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform maintenance and repairs on power generation systems. This role requires significant travel across the UK and potentially overseas. Ideal candidates will have a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and relevant field experience. Field Service Engineer (Generator Service Engineer) – Full Time – South East/ Mobile across UK. Role with Rolls-Royce Power Systems. Reporting to the Service Supervisor for the PowerGen Business Unit and responsible for day-to-day planned preventive maintenance, unplanned reactive maintenance, and scheduled repairs on MTU Kinetic Power Packs (Dynamic Uninterruptible Power Systems) and Diesel Generators. You will travel around the UK in a company-provided vehicle, carrying out a mix of scheduled service work and reactive work, which may include overnight stays. A 365/24/7 emergency on-call coverage requirement is part of the Field Service Engineer rota. Field Service Engineers are expected to be ambassadors for the company with recognised technical skills.
