Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: £44,000 - £50,000 per annum

Employment Type: Full-Time, Day Shift

We are seeking a talented and driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic Manufacturing Engineering team. This is a standard day shift role, but flexibility is essential; candidates must be available outside of core hours should operational issues arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop efficient working methods for assembly and implement modern production engineering techniques.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant.
  • Drive effectiveness, quality, and cost-efficiency across all objectives set by management.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide support to the Maintenance team and collaborate with other departments.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong PC skills; proficiency in AutoCAD highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of conventional machining capabilities and limitations.
  • Practical experience in facility layout and ergonomics is advantageous.
  • Minimum qualification of BTEC/HNC in a relevant engineering field is preferred.
