Job Overview

We are looking for a Trainee Sales Assistant to join our team in Watford. The role focuses on selling a range of medical products—including stents, glues and meshes—to hospitals and private clinics around London and the M25 region.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, nurses and procurement staff in secondary care settings.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the defined territory.
  • Present technical and clinical benefits of our surgical products, including interventional neuroradiology, point‑of‑care DNA testing and surgical glue/mesh.
  • Manage the sales cycle from qualification through to closing deals and post‑sale support.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the medical device, surgical or clinical sales field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Clinical candidates with backgrounds such as scrub nurse, radiographer or ODP are welcome.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with healthcare professionals.
  • Comfortable discussing technical products and outcomes with surgeons and procurement teams.
Compensation and Benefits

Basic Salary: £40,000–£47,000 per year (potential for a higher starting band for surgical sales).

Bonus / OTE: up to £16,000 uncapped.

Car Allowance: £500 monthly.

Benefits: Full healthcare coverage, pension scheme, 26 days holiday plus additional statutory benefits.
