Overview

JOB: Sales Executive (PPE; JANITORIAL; CATERING SUPPLIES)

LOCATION: Bradford/Leeds/Harrogate/York

SALARY: Competitive basic salary (realistic OTE circa £50k)

COMMISSION: Uncapped

STATUS: Permanent

DRIVING LICENCE: FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION

You will be provided with company car, laptop and phone — all the usual tools for your field-based role.

Role: My client is seeking to appoint a full time, permanent FIELD SALES EXECUTIVE. This role may suit an internal salesperson looking to move into Field Sales, provided experience aligns with the right industry sector.

You will be inheriting a well-worked and profitable sales area with strong current business and significant future potential.

The sales territory will likely include Bradford, Leeds, Knaresborough, York and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role requiring you to be out on the road visiting clients and prospects.

Markets: PPE and/or catering equipment and consumables; potential customers include Pubs, Clubs, Restaurants, Local Authorities, NHS, etc.

You may already call on these kinds of businesses with different products and are looking to move into PPE and Catering Supplies.

You will have the determination to succeed and will possess the following skills:

This is a varied and interesting role. You will be nurturing and developing a great area that has been well looked after and that produces a lot of business. There is a lot of in-house support with this well established, Yorkshire based company.

Qualifications
  • Experience in field sales, preferably with PPE and/or catering equipment and consumables
  • Proven ability to call on pubs, clubs, restaurants, local authorities, NHS, etc. (or willingness to move into these sectors)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong skills in territory planning, sales calls, discovery questions, listening, presenting quotations, and closing deals
