A leading telecommunications firm is seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to work in the Somerset region, primarily field-based. This role involves the installation and configuration of various communication systems as part of the Hinckley Point C nuclear project. Key responsibilities include collaborating with teams, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and reporting on installations. Candidates should have electrical installations experience and hold a relevant qualification. A full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

  • Background in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
  • Experience in installation/commissioning is essential.
  • Must hold a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-stage and configure electrical/telecoms equipment.
  • Work with 3rd parties to install and commission equipment.
  • Report on installations and progress to the Installation Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety guidelines.

Skills
