Electrically biased field engineer
Under general supervision of the UK Service Manager. Will be based in the UK service lab in High Wycombe, but will spend approximately 60%-90% of the time out of the office (dependent on customer demand) carrying out field service work, at various locations throughout the UK, Europe and possibly Middle East and Africa. The field service will be concerned with the servicing, repair and calibration of our manufactured test instrumentation at customer facilities, however there will be some scope to work with our instruments when working in house in the High Wycombe facility.
Work is typically performed either at a customer’s facility or in a standard office setting working at a desk or table on a level surface. Air quality and noise levels are within normal limits. Eye protection is usually not required. Under normal conditions, exposure to excessive noise, dust, humidity, and fumes is rare. Maybe required to work more hours than normally expected during a regular workweek depending on workload and deadline requirements.
