Job description

As a Field Collections Agent, you'll be the friendly face of Orbit, meeting customers at their homes to help them find a way forward with their finances. You'll offer empathy, guidance, and practical solutions that make a real difference.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers to resolve outstanding arrears and discuss payment options.
• Handle accounts for both regulated and non‑regulated clients, including reconnection visits.
• Accept payments, set up repayment plans, and re‑engage customers with client services.
• Educate customers about the potential consequences of non‑payment.
• Use an Orbit‑supplied iPad to update account outcomes in real time.

Working Hours

We offer a 40‑hour work week with a supportive approach to work‑life balance. Your visits will be scheduled across the following operating window:

• 40 hours per week required, operating hours Monday‑Friday visiting between 8 am‑8 pm and Saturday 9 am‑1 pm.
• 10 of your 40 hours must be worked during prime hours: 4 pm‑8 pm Monday and Saturday 9 am‑1 pm.

Eligibility

• Clear criminal record.
• No CCJs, IVAs, or bankruptcies in the last 6 years.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points), own car; business insurance required.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable working independently.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary from £27,965 per annum.
• £4,200 car allowance.
