Job summary

A high-end fertility clinic is seeking a Fertility Nurse to join their team in City of Westminster. The role involves ensuring high standards of nursing care, scheduling patient treatment cycles, performing assessments and blood tests, and teaching self-medication techniques. Candidates should have fertility or gynaecology nursing experience, alongside cannulation and phlebotomy skills. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays, focused on providing excellent patient care.

Qualifications

  • Ability to provide empathetic patient care.
  • Knowledge of medication administration and patient assessments.

Daytime Healthcare are assisting a well established high-end fertility clinic in Harley Street who are seeking a Fertility Nurse to join their team.

The Clinic is committed to providing the very best patient care and being able to achieve this depends heavily on the care provided by the nursing. Hence, you will be highly empathetic and results driven.

You must have either Fertility or Gynaecology nurse experience to be considered.

Duties
  • Prepare for and assist with the smooth running of the clinic ensuring a high standard of nursing care
  • Scheduling of patient treatment cycles, liaising with doctors to arrange prescriptions and drug administration
  • Perform basic patient assessments
  • Perform blood tests
  • Perform nurses' pretreatment consultations
  • Consent patients using the Clinic's electronic consent platform
  • Communicate clinical instructions to patients
  • Teach patients how to self-administer relevant medications
  • Assist with ultrasound scans
  • Administer medications, including IV infusions
  • Dispense medications per prescriptions
  • Perform pre-operative assessments

Cannulation & Phlebotomy experience required.

Full time (37.5 hours per week), (Apply online only) Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturdays if required)
