A caregiving organization located in Woodborough is seeking a Female Support Worker for Waking Nights to provide dedicated overnight support to a woman with a spinal cord injury. Responsibilities include personal care, monitoring wellbeing, and ensuring safety. Ideal candidates are patient, kind, and have experience in continence management. The position offers a flat rate of £13.13 per hour with various benefits including access to health plans and training opportunities.
Location: Woodborough, Nottingham. Pay rates: £13.13 per hour flat rate – Weekly or Monthly pay available. Hours: Waking nights - Monday - Sunday: 22:00pm – 9:15am - 22 hours per week.
We are looking for a female support worker to join a small, dedicated team providing one-to-one overnight support for a friendly and independent woman living with a high-level spinal cord injury (C6/7 Tetraplegia). She is articulate and enjoys reading, gardening, visiting garden centres, and swimming. She values calm, capable support that allows her to maintain her independence, comfort, and dignity.
You’ll provide respectful and attentive support throughout the night, ensuring comfort, safety, and personal care needs are met. There are occasional 2:1 overlaps with another team member when needed.
Experience supporting someone with a spinal injury is highly valued, as is confidence in continence and bowel care. Please be aware you will be asked if you are comfortable carrying out bowel care as part of the role.
