Job Type : Full time

Contract Type : Permanent

Salary : £12.21- £12.50 per hour

To add to our existing team of amazing and dedicated staff, we are seeking to recruit Outreach Support Workers in Cheshire.

About the role

For this role, you will be part of our outreach team, travelling to the homes of the people we support to assist them in their daily routines. You will assist with day to day tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping. Provide assistance out in the community to engage in social activities or work placements, such as going out for evening meals, bowling, shopping or meeting up with family and friends. Some of the people we support live at home with their families and some live independently, but your time and engagement helps them to thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support
  • Support individuals with daily living skills
  • Assist with accessing the community, attending appointments, and engaging in meaningful activities
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and wellbeing
  • Follow personalised support plans and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues
  • For this role a full UK driving licence and your own car will be required
Other details
  • Cost of fuel to travel between services is paid at 45p per mile.
  • This post is restricted to women only as a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 paragraph 1, Equality Act 2010
  • Hours: 1 full time position available. Regular shift patterns: 4pm-10pm
  • You must be available to work 2 weekends out of 4 and include sleep ins (weekend support is Friday 2pm through to 9:30am on the Monday; weekend support can be split into separate shifts to suit the applicant)
  • You must be flexible. Location: travel is essential between Sandbach, Alsager, Crewe, Congleton and Nantwich; you may be required to travel to different areas for different services in the same day.

You will impress us with your creative support and ability to work on your own initiative. Youre passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people to make positive and lasting changes to their lives. Youre flexible; both in the way you work but also in the days and hours you will work. You must hold a full UK manual driving licence for this role. Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship, please only apply if you can work in the UK.
