Job summary

A personal care service provider is seeking a Female Personal Care Assistant to support a young female with a neurological and learning disability in the Airdrie area. The role includes attending to personal care needs and promoting independent living through various activities. A warm and friendly demeanor is essential, along with good communication skills and a UK driving licence. Training will be provided for suitable candidates. This is a guaranteed permanent position of 6 hours per week at £12.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required.
• Relevant care experience preferred, training provided.

• Attend to personal care needs like showering and toileting.

• Attending to all personal care needs, including showering, toileting and bowel movements.
• Walking, swimming and trampolining, supporting participation in these physical activities.
• Performing daily living tasks to promote independent living.
• Taking a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage the individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.

Qualities & Requirements

• Warm and friendly nature with a desire to work within a caring role.
• Comfortable working with pets in the household (dog/cat/bird etc.).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Relevant care experience preferred, but training will be provided.

Schedule & Compensation

Guaranteed permanent position of 6 hours per week.

Days and Times: Set shifts on Saturday or Sunday, times to be discussed at interview.

Hourly rate: £12.60 per hour.
