A supportive care organization is seeking a caregiver to assist a young lady and her daughter with daily activities, including personal care and childcare. The role requires a caring, reliable individual who can work flexible hours approximately once every six weeks, adapting to the needs of the individual. Previous experience with children or special needs is essential. The position includes some night shifts and a DBS check will be necessary.

33 year old lady requires support once every 6 weeks on average following a medical procedure. To care for her and 6 year old daughter before and after school. Support required is minimal personal care, meal preparation, support with medication, support to get daughter ready for school and to care for daughter on return from school. To provide support during the night if and when required.

The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).
Car driver preferred but not essential.
Successful candidates are required to undertake any training that is considered necessary and appropriate to the role.
Hours per week: At least one evening every 6 weeks, however more may be needed due to extra care after medical procedures.
Dates and times are flexible and can be discussed at interview.
