A leading UK care provider is seeking a Female Nights Support Worker for a full-time position in Colchester. The Priory Ogilvie Court is looking to recruit a Female Nights Support Worker to join their team. This is a full time, permanent contract.
Ogilvie Court is located in Earls Colne, near Colchester. It offers residential support for 25 people with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, and other associated needs. We can also support people who are on the autism spectrum and those who have physical disabilities. We are in a rural location, surrounded by lovely views and countryside. Our team is dedicated to providing the people we care for with the skills needed for them to live a healthier and happier life back in the community.
Ideal candidates may have previous experience in a similar role. However, while valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours to make a difference in people’s lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion in caring for the people we support.
You will be part of a compassionate team committed to residents’ wellbeing. Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be key strengths, and you will have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work.
As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual care plans, undertake routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. You will provide support with day-to-day activities, while encouraging independent living. You’ll help people reach their potential through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference in their lives.
