A leading media organization is seeking a Publisher to ensure high-quality Telegraph content. Responsibilities include sub-editing and building articles across Features & Lifestyle, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Candidates should have strong digital publishing skills, understand SEO, and possess a keen news sense. This role offers development opportunities in a fast-paced environment, with benefits that support lifestyle choices and work-life balance.
Publishers ensure that Telegraph content is of the highest quality. You will sub-edit and build articles across all Features & Lifestyle desks, interrogating copy and ensuring it is tight and accurate, and optimise pieces for audience, platforms and search.
Working in a fast-moving and often pressurised environment, you will be capable of publishing numerous articles a day with accuracy and flair. You will use video, pictures and graphics creatively to make articles visually engaging and should be able to write strong headlines and brilliant standfirsts and captions.
Publishers also sub, build and send newsletters, and develop simple visuals. The role also involves acting up on the rota as required.
This role will report into the Features & Lifestyle Chief Sub.
