Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking a detail-oriented Admin Officer for a temporary role at a research farm in Hillsborough. Job Title: Admin Officer
Rate of pay: £13.75 oer hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week (plus overtime if required)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admin Officer to join the Research Farmed Estates team at Hillsborough in a temporary ongoing basis. This role involves supporting the operational and administrative functions of the farm unit, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across a range of duties.

Responsibilities
  • Reconciliation of invoices (feed bills, hauliers, veterinary services)
  • Ordering and managing medicines, PPE, and animal tags
  • Registration and certification of animals, including pedigree and accreditation platforms
  • Managing BVD sampling, TB testing, and reporting of positive test results
  • Liaising with waste management and acting as Farm Unit Waste Champion
  • Maintaining internal systems (Cora time, Agriwebb, soil nutrient records)
  • Supporting the Nutrient Management Plan and Farm KPIs
  • General administrative support including minute-taking and data input
Essential Criteria
  • 5 GCSEs including Science, Maths, and English Language (Grades A*-C or equivalent)
