Qualifications

  • Experience managing crops and budgets in a farming environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management with farmers.
  • Knowledge of agricultural standards such as Red Tractor and Leaf.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of Branstons own grown crop across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.
  • Drive financial and quality aspects of the crop.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Manager to determine growth needs.
  • Select and manage contractors for timely and cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Skills

Growing experience, ideally root crops
Strong negotiation skills
Farmer relationship skills
Red Tractor and Leaf knowledge
Proficient in all Microsoft suites including Excel
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
