Overview

Family Time Worker – Staffordshire. Apply by sending your CV to .uk. We are looking for a Family Time Worker to join the Families and Communities service in Staffordshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and their families by facilitating therapeutic family time in line with court directions.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate therapeutic family time between children and their parents or other family members.
  • Provide parenting support and guidance during family time.
  • Support children and families with safe transport arrangements to sessions.
  • Keep accurate records, reports, and documentation relating to children and families.
  • Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of children and families.
About You

We\'re looking for someone with:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in working with children and families.
  • Experience of direct work with children, families, and carers within a statutory or voluntary setting.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
  • The ability to use IT systems confidently and maintain high-quality written records.
  • A valid driver\'s licence and access to a car (essential).
