Job summary

Role Overview

Wittering Families Centre seeks to appoint a new family support worker who will work alongside our community and the users of the Centre. In this role you will work 30 hours per week Monday to Friday on a fixed term contract up to 31/08/2026

Responsibilities

The post holder will need to be conscientious, have the ability to use own initiative as well as having a flexible approach is essential. You will have excellent communication skills along with good organisational and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work with children and parents from across the community and be prepared to engage in the wide variety of activities that take place within the day.

Qualifications

You will desirably have had experience of supporting families, children’s centre work, CAFs and parenting programmes.
