A local council in the UK is looking for a new leader for its Family Relationships Team to support families in building healthy relationships and reducing parental conflict. Your role includes implementing evidence-based interventions and collaborating with a variety of services to ensure positive outcomes for children and parents. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with families facing complex challenges and will be proactive in driving improvements. A relevant qualification and the right to work in the UK are required.

What is the job role? Fixed Term Role. We are excited to recruit a new role within our already established Family Relationships Team. To lead and coordinate initiatives that support families in building healthy relationships and reducing parental conflict, ensuring positive outcomes for children and parents. To support the early identification and reduction of parental conflict, ensuring that children and young people are protected from its harmful effects. The role involves delivering evidence-based interventions, supporting practitioners, and working in partnership with families and agencies to promote positive parental relationships. To work in partnership with a range of services such as Health, Schools, Early Years providers, Housing, Police, and third sector organisations to empower families to sustain positive changes that will improve the outcomes for children and young people. To lead on and be responsible for the planning and delivery of evidence based individual and group work programmes to families experiencing parental conflict. Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions. Train and support practitioners in best practices for conflict resolution. Maintain accurate records and report on progress to stakeholders. All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role. This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
