Factory Operative

Location: Margate

Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday

Pay: Age related minimum wage; 10.00-12.21 per hour

We are currently looking for a Factory Operative to join our client's production team. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for a college leaver or someone looking to start or develop a career in manufacturing.

This role would suit someone with an interest in building or assembling things, whether through education, hands‑on hobbies, or personal projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting a range of tasks within the production area
  • Building kits and carrying out assembly work
  • Cleaning and maintaining machines and work areas
  • Assisting colleagues to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations
About You
  • Willing to learn and develop new skills
  • Practical, hands‑on approach to work
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
  • An interest in building or assembly work is desirable

This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a factory environment with full training and ongoing support provided. The role will start on a temporary basis initially but could progress to a permanent opportunity for the right person.
