A prominent health authority in the UK is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals for a permanent part-time role as a ward-based caterer. The position involves working flexible hours to deliver quality catering within a healthcare setting. We are looking motivated and enthusiastic people with a flexible approach to work to join our Facilities team within Patient catering as a ward based caterer at the University Hospital of Llandough.
The vacancy is permanent and various hours are available between 15:30 and 19:30 and any five from seven days.
Candidates must possess a current food hygiene certification, have good customer care skills and be able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team. Knowledge of catering within a hospital environment, COSHH, health & safety and infection control would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will need to have the ability to adapt to an ever changing health care environment. You will need to be organised and have experience of working in a busy service and environment where you would be required to prioritise workloads according to schedules and service needs.
There are development opportunities for people with good organisational and communication skills and a good knowledge of delivering a quality service to patients, relatives and members of staff.
