A regional healthcare authority is seeking a Facilities Officer in Canterbury to manage housekeeping teams across multiple sites. Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB). As a Facilities Officer you will line manage for House Keeping staff who work varying shifts from 07:00 am - 10:00 am and 14:30 pm - 19:30 pm across 9 sites consisting of Out-Patient Admin buildings with clinics, 3 x 10 bed Rehabilitation homes all within the East Directorate only, supporting the management of soft FM contracts, a working knowledge of Health & Safety, Fire Regulations & Trust Policies, including HR, Waste Regulations, NHS Cleaning Standards 2025, Infection Control and Sustainability. You will act as a point of contact and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders, service managers, matrons, general managers, external contractors and colleagues. The role will support our patients utilising our services within our properties and you will provide service improvements and help us live our values every day. The shift patterns will vary based on business need, across the week - Monday to Friday.
