A global healthcare technology company is seeking a Facilities Manager to coordinate facilities management across its sites in the UK. The role involves leading a team, overseeing contractor compliance, managing budgets, and developing a facilities strategy for a state-of-the-art new site. Ideal candidates should have a degree in engineering, experience in industrial facilities management, and strong IT skills.
Siemens Healthineers MR Magnet Technology is the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of superconducting magnets for magnetic resonance imaging. Our Eynsham facility has a strong engineering and manufacturing heritage, and the business has been recognized with multiple awards for export success and manufacturing excellence. Due to the expansion of magnet production and the opening of a brand new, industry 4.0 aligned site at Bicester, we have created the position of Facilities Manager to co-ordinate facilities management across all Siemens Healthineers MT (Magnet Technologies) sites.
In this role you will lead a team of 5 responsible for the provision of hard and soft services to the production and office areas across all sites, ensuring compliant, effective and efficient delivery of facilities services. You will develop future best-in-class facilities strategy while delivering operational excellence. You will manage outsourced contracts, ensuring service providers deliver against contracted SLAs and KPIs. You will work closely with production to understand infrastructure and support needs, defining strategy and delivering solutions while managing expectations. Regular interactions with the Senior Leadership Team will enable you to build trust through your expert knowledge and interpersonal ability. You will be responsible for the growth and progression of your team, ensuring robust training and development plans, coaching and mentoring throughout the year.
