Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical

Location: Oxford Central

Package: £42,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join my client's team, covering a commercial site in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to be part of a dynamic and well-established company that values quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
  • Perform maintenance and tests on fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers and other compliance systems.
  • Carry out checks to building equipment and systems such as Generators, Splits, AHU/FCU's, Motors, Pumps, LTHWS etc.
  • Monitor BMS
  • Diagnose and resolve M&E faults quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Undertake training for AP, CP or RP duties
Requirements
  • Level 3 NVQ equivalent in an Engineering related field - Mechanical/HVAC, Plumbing etc.
  • Proven experience in a similar building maintenance role.
  • Knowledge of commercial building systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
