Overview

Facilities Services is part of the Estates and Facilities Directorate, delivering in-house soft FM services within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, across Nottinghamshire, under the ROE agreement.

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team at The Health Shop, 12 Broad Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AL. This is a part-time role working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), with shifts consisting of 3 hours each morning. Exact start times will be discussed, but early starts will be required.

Role and responsibilities
  • The primary focus of this role is cleaning, ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in line with infection control and health and safety guidelines.
  • There may be opportunities to support with basic catering and portering tasks as needed.
  • Office and site duties as required in an outpatient setting; full training will be provided across all relevant duties. Uniform will be supplied.
Requirements and training
  • Part-time hours; flexibility to cover other areas when needed; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full training provided across all duties; in-house training to support personal development plans. Uniform supplied.
Payroll, DBS and visa information
  • Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment: £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced). Cost deducted over the first 2 months of employment.
  • The NHS Update Service is encouraged with an annual fee of £16 per year.
