A leading outdoor education organization in Ashford is seeking a Facilities Assistant Manager to oversee the safety and cleanliness of their centres. You will manage Maintenance and Housekeeping teams, ensuring that all operations are efficient and up to high standards. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in facilities management, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of health and safety regulations. This full-time position offers fair pay, generous leave, and fantastic benefits including additional holidays and discounts.
Earn £32,548 (live-off rate) per annum (our pay system is benchmarked and fair).

Make a difference as a Facilities Assistant Manager
Our Facilities team ensures centres are equipped with everything they need to deliver safe, exciting and fun adventures for all guests.
You’ll report to the Facilities Manager and be responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of the centre, while managing the day-to-day running of the Maintenance and Housekeeping teams to ensure an excellent guest experience.
Supporting the Facilities Manager in ensuring all maintenance works are completed to high standards, and that all grounds, buildings and activity bases are kept safe with compliance audit checks kept green.
Is this you?
Ideally you will have experience from a similar trade, facilities management or housekeeping environment, with experience in managing teams. You’ll have strong organisational and time management skills, and be able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
You’ll have knowledge of health and safety / COSHH legal and regulatory requirements and can implement these standards across your centre. There will be some travel to other centres, so a full driving licence is required.
