A leading manufacturing organisation in the East Midlands is seeking a Facilities / Site Administrator to act as the first point of contact and provide administrative support. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently. The position offers a salary of £27,000 per annum, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 08:00–17:00 and Friday, 08:00–13:00.

Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, is seeking a proactive and highly organised Facilities / Site Administrator to be the first point of contact at reception and provide essential administrative support across the site. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can multitask efficiently, and delivers a professional and welcoming experience to visitors, contractors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reception & Front-of-House
  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is clean, presentable, and compliant with safety procedures.
  • Issue visitor passes, log arrivals/departures, and ensure appropriate induction requirements are met.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Facilities Coordination
  • Support day-to-day facilities operations, including reporting maintenance issues and liaising with contractors.
  • Administrative Support
  • Provide general administrative assistance to site leadership, including filing, photocopying, and documentation management.
Key skills
  • Previous experience in a Facilities, Site Admin, Reception, or similar administrative role—preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Understanding of basic health & safety or facilities processes is desirable.

£27,000 per year.

Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00 | Friday 08:00–13:00.
