A leading healthcare provider in Scotland is seeking a dedicated individual for a fixed-term position focusing on training delivery for over 200 GP Practices as they transition to a new clinical system. Key responsibilities include developing training materials and assisting with data quality assurance. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant degree or have significant experience in a similar role, with excellent communication skills and an understanding of digital training systems. This role contributes to transformational digital projects and offers the chance to work with the largest Health Board in Scotland.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
Fixed‑term post until June 2027, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is part of the GP Re‑provisioning Programme Team supporting over 200 GP Practices as they move to a new clinical system. The role includes delivering training programmes, training materials, and assisting GP Practices to quality assure migrated data. Key systems: Vision 3, Vision Anywhere, and Docman.
Deliver training programmes and training materials for a range of clinical and non‑clinical staff.
Assist GP Practices in quality assuring data migrated to the new clinical system.
Work closely with healthcare professionals across the Health Board to help digital technology transform services, providing an integrated and modern health and social care service.
Degree in a relevant discipline or significant experience in a similar role.
Previous experience within eHealth or Primary Care is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.
Understanding of digital training, e‑learning, learning management systems and GP clinical systems is advantageous.
Working with the largest Health Board in Scotland and contributing to transformational digital projects.
