A leading apprenticeship provider is seeking candidates for a Level 3 Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship. Successful applicants will gain practical skills in manufacturing processes while being supported by experienced technicians. This role offers a pathway to a nationally recognized engineering qualification, comprehensive training, and a commitment to career development. Barnfield Engineering has been providing specialised industrial installations and maintenance services to the Water Utility and Construction Industries in the UK since 1986 from our three branches across Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Wiltshire.
Level 3 Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship
Successful candidates will learn and practice the full range of manufacturing processes, gaining knowledge both on the job and in the classroom. Supported by experienced Manufacturing Technicians, areas covered will include :
You will be enrolled onto an NVQ training course to become a fully qualified Fabrication & Weld Operative. We are invested in continuous career development throughout your employment and a keen interest in engineering is crucial for this role. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will achieve a nationally recognised engineering apprenticeship qualification.
As well as gaining a broad range of professional knowledge and experience, you will gain academic and vocational qualifications such as the Level 3 Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship Standard. You will also achieve Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Fabrication and Welding, as well as a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
You will be based at our Site at Barnfield Engineering Wiltshire, Beechfield Barn, Blandford Road, Salisbury, SP5 5RL
Working Week : Monday – Friday 07 : 30 to 16 : 30. 40 hours a week
Planned Start Date : September 2025
Duration : 36 Months
