Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in their leading facility in Halesowen.

For the successful Fabricator Welder our client is offering:

• £15 per hour
• Monday to Thursday 7am - 4:45pm
• Temporary to Permanent position
• Immediate weld tests available

The Role - Fabricator Welder:

• Fabrication & Welding of a variety of products
• Reading from engineering drawings
• MIG Welding
• Use of hand/power tools
• Use of machinery within the workshop
• Fabricating products from start to finish

What our client is looking for in a Fabricator Welder:

• MIG Welding experience, TIG experience would be ideal but not essential
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Competent in the use of hand and power tools
• Able to weld test/start work as soon as possible

• Rate of pay up to £18.50 P/H
• Monday to Thursday 7:45 am- 4:30 pm and 7:45 am to 1:30 on Fridays
• Overtime is available - Evenings in the week x1.33 / Sat x1.5 / Sundays x2
• Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate

• Coded welding
• 6G Welding position ideally (2G considered)

• Most welds are to be X-ray standard as well as MPI/DPI

• Previous qualifications/coding - ADVANTAGEOUS
• A weld trade test will be required, which will be x-rayed
• Will be able for butt welds to pass X-ray. DPI and MPI
