Job summary

A leading real estate services company is seeking a Fabric Technician based in Little London. The role entails responding to maintenance requests, completing tasks within agreed timescales, and liaising with clients. Candidates should have prior experience in fabric and carpentry, relevant certifications, and a strong understanding of health and safety procedures. A current UK driver's license and good customer relationship skills are also essential. This position requires flexibility in working hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Fabric and Carpentry required.
  • Must have a current UK driver's license.
  • Experience of H&S procedures including COSHH and Risk Assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to reactive works within the team.
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding maintenance tasks.
  • Undertake site surveys and produce required documents for planned works.
  • Complete PPM jobs in a timely manner.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Respond to reactive works within the team
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales
  • Liaise with client representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks
  • Undertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works
  • Repairs floor and wall coverings
  • Responsible for ceiling tile repairs and replacements
  • Responsible for other building and installation works as required
  • Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, Filter Changes AHU's / FCU's and Basic Plumbing requirements
  • Utilise PDA to complete works, key communications & updates
  • Complete reactive, PPM jobs & projects in a timely manner
  • Undertake minor projects works
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations
  • In addition to the above duties you will be expected to undertake all reasonable tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager
Qualifications
  • Previous Fabric, Carpentry experience
  • Experience of working in a high profile work environment
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Equivalent in carpentry
  • Current UKL driver's license
  • PC literate
  • Good Customer relationship skills
  • Understand and interpret technical drawings, instructions and processes
  • Able to organise self to manage assigned tasks, determine material requirements
  • Experience of H&S procedures & requirements (COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment, etc)
  • Health & Safety qualified i.e. IOSH and/or NEBOSH
  • Must be willing to work over & above contractual hours
