A leading construction firm is seeking a Building Technician to provide maintenance services at Derbyshire Police Headquarters. The role involves fault finding, project supervision, and operational support for building systems. Ideal candidates should possess a recognized trade qualification, strong communication skills, and a basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems. BAM FM is recruiting a Building Technician to work alongside a team of specialised technicians based out of Derbyshire Police Headquarters providing a fully encompassing service delivery plan for our client. Working 40 Hours per week Monday - Friday between the hours of 8.00am - 5.00pm (flexible shift pattern). You will also be required to be on the on call rota. This position requires you to be police vetted prior to start.
In conjunction with common roles the Building Technician will have full responsibility for the Building fabric status of the site and carry out planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks as they occur across the site.
