Qualifications

  • Holds a Level 2 qualification in Early Years / Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
  • Has experience working with young children in a school or early years setting.
  • Is patient, proactive, and adaptable with a genuine passion for child development.
  • Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with colleagues and parents.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
  • Willing to undergo training to obtain their First Aid Certificate.

About the Role

As our new EYFS Teaching Assistant you will :

  • Support high-quality teaching and learning within our Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to create a positive stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in delivering engaging play-based activities that nurture curiosity independence and early learning skills.
  • Build warm and supportive relationships with children encouraging their social emotional and academic development.
  • Contribute to observations and assessments to help track childrens progress.
  • Promote our school values and help ensure every child feels safe confident and valued.

Please note this is a fixed term contract until 31 August 2026 with the possibility of extension.

About You
  • Holds a Level 2 qualification in Early Years / Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
