EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: North London

Pay: £95-£115 per day

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in North London. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children in the early stages of their learning and development.

You will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils in Nursery or Reception, helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children within the EYFS framework through play‑based learning
  • Assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities
  • Provide one‑to‑one and small group support where required
  • Support children's social, emotional and behavioural development
  • Help with personal care routines where necessary
  • Set up learning resources and maintain a safe classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider EYFS team
