A welcoming and dynamic primary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team from September. Known for its warm, community-focused ethos, the school is committed to excellence in early childhood education.
As the EYFS Teacher, you will create a safe, inspiring environment where children feel confident and motivated to explore. You ll develop creative, hands-on activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of every child.
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in line with the EYFS framework
Observe and assess children s progress and support their individual milestones
Foster a classroom culture that encourages independence, exploration, and kindness
Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, parents, and staff to support each child s development
Maintain open and positive communication with families
Participate in school initiatives, enrichment programs, and professional development
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with Early Years specialism preferred
Experience working in EYFS or nursery settings
Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS statutory framework
Creative, energetic, and patient approach to teaching
Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply
