Position: Extra Care Care Worker

Shifts Available: Zero-Hour Contract - Various Shifts Available, between Monday – Sunday, 7am – 10pm

What You Will Do
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while maintaining dignity and comfort.
  • Support Daily Living: Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and shopping.
  • Offer Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation.
  • Conduct Wellbeing Checks: Regular wellbeing checks to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to company policies including privacy, health and safety, and care standards.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Participate in team meetings and share ideas to enhance services.
What We are Looking For
  • Experience in Care: Previous care experience preferred, but a genuine passion for helping others is essential.
  • Positive Attitude: Friendly, supportive demeanour with a genuine passion for assisting those in need.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and families.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to varying needs.
  • Diligence: Careful and professional execution of tasks and wellbeing checks.
  • Valid Driver’s License: Clean license and reliable vehicle preferred but not essential.
  • Work Related Car Insurance: Willingness to obtain work-related car insurance preferred but not essential.
  • Background Checks: Willingness to undergo necessary background checks.
  • Weekend Availability: Ability to work on weekends as required.
