Position : Exterior Maintenance Technician

Location : Brentwood

Contract : Full Time 40 hours per week, Permanent

Salary : Basic salary £29,996k per annum

Reporting To : Team Leader

The Role

Working as an Exterior Maintenance Technician, you will work on site ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing exterior customer base.

Your main duties will include :

• Grass cutting and strimming
• Shrub pruning, plant care and hedge cutting
• Weed maintenance
• Using a range of powered and non-powered horticulture equipment
• Complete all digital records required through smart phone application
• Liaising with customers
• Autumn clearing
• Spring preparation
• Mowing
• Heavy lifting will be required

Requirements :

Qualifications & Experience :

• Full UK drivers licence
• Garden maintenance experience is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential

As part of your role, you will be required to :

• Always act in a professional manner as a representative of the organisation.
• Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
• Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
• Initiate suggestions to improve the organisations performance
• Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
