Job summary

A niche freight forwarding agency in the Feltham area is seeking an Export Clerk to manage the full export process. The ideal candidate will handle tasks like completing MAWB and HAWBs, negotiating with airlines, and ensuring customs compliance. Strong knowledge of IATA rates and excellent customer service skills are essential. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule in a supportive environment with a well-established agency.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or shipping.
• Ability to complete job processes from start to finish.
• Knowledge of Customs procedures and complex codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the export process from start to finish.
• Contact shippers and arrange collections.
• Complete MAWB & HAWBs with country and airline knowledge.
• Negotiate with airlines for optimal pricing.
• Provide accurate quotations and maintain high customer service.

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Export Clerk for a well-established niche sector Freight Forwarder based in the Feltham, Middlesex area.

Job role : -

• Be able to complete a job start to finish
• Contact shippers.
• Arrange collections.
• Complete MAWB & HAWBs, displaying knowledge of country requirements, IATA rates & airline requirements
• Negotiate with airlines for maximum margin.
• Complete Customs entries and have knowledge of slightly more complex procedure codes.(IPR, BONDED, EXPORT LICENCING etc).
• Provide quotations
• High customer service levels
• Providing agents with post flights and departure

Working hours :

Monday- Friday
