Job summary

A specialized freight forwarder in Greater London is seeking an Export Clerk to manage pharmaceutical shipments. Job description

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Export Clerk for a well-established niche sector Freight Forwarder dealing with Pharma shipments. The company is based in the Feltham, Middlesex area.

Responsibilities
  • Liaising closely with shippers/consignee's
  • Arranging and tracking Shipments.
  • Preparing and reviewing Shipping documents, including MAWB, packing lists and invoices.
  • Coordinating the transportation routes and methods with hauliers.
  • Liaising with Airlines, Handling Agents, Freight Forwarders and Transporters
  • Make sure shipments are compliant with international trade laws specifically in relations to pharmaceuticals.
  • Maintaining records of all export transactions, including tracking shipments and preparing reports on shipping costs and delivery times.
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC export regulations, including obtaining necessary licenses and permits from UK Exporters.
  • Ensuring time critical and temperature-controlled Freight is stored at the correct temperature.
  • Liaising with overseas agents / offices
  • Completing all Export documentation including MAWB's and customs entries
  • Pre-alerts
  • Arranging collections and deliveries
