Executive Sushi Chef | Blue Sushi Sake Grill | Birmingham

Position: Executive Sushi Chef
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + quarterly bonus opportunities

Travel Requirement: This position requires travel to Omaha, Nebraska, for an initial 6-week training period.

The Role:
As the Executive Sushi Chef, you’ll collaborate with our Executive Chef and General Manager to create memorable guest experiences and a positive kitchen culture. You’ll lead BOH operations, focusing on quality, creativity, and operational excellence to bring our signature sushi experience to life.

  • Competitive Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 + quarterly bonus opportunities
  • Bonuses: $5,000 in bonus earning potential

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage food and beverage costs through inventory control and waste reduction
  • Oversee a team of 10+ employees, providing clear direction, feedback, and training
  • Coordinate with the Director of Operations on inventory and scheduling
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for employees and guests alike
