Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client‑centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. An exciting opportunity to join our Special Investigations team in London. Our Special Investigations team focus on contentious insolvency and fraud investigations with a demonstrated history of recovering assets from both the UK and overseas.

We deal with cross‑border issues, complex litigation and numerous contentious issues, as well as liquidations and high‑profile bankruptcies.

You will need to be analytically minded with report writing experience and a strong desire to work on contentious insolvency cases. You should be commercially aware of budgets and time recording, with the ability to work on a large portfolio of cases, ensuring both excellent client service and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and the firm’s internal and external procedures and standards.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Assisting on a large portfolio of insolvency cases, including compulsory liquidations, creditors voluntary liquidations and bankruptcies.
• Planning assignments in accordance with the firm’s standard procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Carrying out tasks under guidance of all levels of senior colleagues and regularly report to them as appropriate.
• Assisting with case control and handle all statutory and other deadlines.
• Conducting detailed analysis of financial information and other records, to identify issues, assets and antecedent transactions including misfeasance, transactions at undervalue and breach of duty claims.

• PII qualification beneficial but not a prerequisite for the role.

Experience/Attributes:

• Good understanding of IPS or similar case management system.

• Proven experience in insolvency fraud investigation cases is preferable.
