We are seeking a proactive exceptionally capable and detail-oriented Executive Business Partner (EBP) to provide comprehensive support to our Chief Operating Officer (COO). You will be an integral part of the Office of the COO responsible for ensuring the COOs time is fully optimised so they can lead effectively & show up their best within Google DeepMind & wider Google.

The Role
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a trusted 1 : 1 working relationship with the COO their Executive Operations Partner alongside effective relationships with the wider office
  • Expertly manage the COOs complex and dynamic schedule across multiple time zones anticipating needs resolving conflicts proactively and ensure timely execution of key tasks
  • Open to travel with the COO & staff trips as needed
  • Project support & partner with OCOO on internal / external engagement
  • Gather and synthesise information proactively connect the dots and serve as the COos eyes and ears on the ground
  • The ability to anticipate and proactively resolve issues requiring exceptional problem-solving and sound judgment.
  • Support key meetings; circulating agendas capturing notes & actions
  • Prepare materials & comms on behalf of the COO
  • Build strong trust-based relationships across all levels of the organisation and with external partners fostering a culture of collaboration. Serve as a key point of contact for the COO
  • Support operational tasks and processes; suggesting ideas for continuous improvement
