Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the prestigious Patient Client Council to recruit a temporary Band 5 Executive Assistant to the CEO. And the PCC Council.

  • Based in Belfast City Centre
  • The role is Band 5 £15.33 per hour
  • Temporary with immediate start
  • Full time Hours Monday to Friday 9am‑5pm
  • Enhanced holidays after 12 weeks.

We're seeking a standout Executive Personal Assistant to provide high‑level support to the CEO and PCC Council within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment in the heart of Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with senior leaders, thrives under pressure, and excels in delivering first‑class administrative and organisational support.

The Role
  • Manage complex diaries, correspondence, and key communications
  • Prepare high‑quality reports, papers, minutes, and briefings
  • Liaise confidently with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Support governance processes and coordinate meetings at senior and board level
  • Provide timely, accurate administrative and analytical support
  • Provide proactive, high‑level executive administrative support to the Chief Executive and Chair.
  • Contribute to the efficient administrative management of PCC corporate business.
  • Act as a key liaison between the Chief Executive's office, PCC Council, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures for all Board and Executive business within Business Support.
  • Identify and flag policy‑level issues relevant to the Patient and Client Council.
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Essential Criteria
Experience / Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following:

  • A university degree or equivalent qualification AND at least 1 year's relevant experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO, Director, Board or Council OR
  • 4 years' relevant experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO, Director, Board or Council

AND

  • Proven experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to achieve successful outcomes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Skills & Abilities

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Confidence to work independently, using initiative to complete tasks efficiently
  • A solid understanding of data analysis and the ability to interpret information accurately
  • Proven experience preparing minutes, reports, and briefings to a high standard
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including minute‑taking and report writing
