Job summary

A growing HR consultancy is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Director, coordinate client onboarding, and manage various systems and processes. This flexible part-time role (approximately 3 days a week) allows for home-based work with a preference for candidates in Norfolk or Suffolk. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information professionally. Executive Assistant

(Title open to discussion – we care far more about fit than labels)

Hours: Part time, around 3 days per week (negotiable). Very flexible working arrangements, including school hours if needed.

Location: Primarily home based. Being located in Norfolk or Suffolk would be preferable but is not essential for the right person.

Salary: £18k- £21k ( £30,000 to £35,000 FTE, pro-rated)

About the role

We are looking for a confident, capable all‑rounder with a strong understanding of HR and or small service‑based businesses.

You will work closely with Lucy, Mustard’s Director, supporting the smooth running of the business, improving systems and processes, and helping deliver an excellent experience for clients and consultants alike.

This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, brings ideas, and is not afraid to roll their sleeves up when needed.

What you will be doing
Executive support and operations
  • Provide high level executive support to Lucy
  • Act as a key point of contact for consultants and stakeholders
  • Manage diaries, meetings, priorities and follow ups
  • Attend meetings, including occasional in person and co working days
  • Liaise with suppliers and external partners
  • Handle occasional personal tasks (e.g. booking appointments)
  • Deputise for Lucy, including holiday cover
Client and team coordination
  • Prepare client proposals, contracts and onboarding documents
  • Maintain confidential client and team records
  • Coordinate client and team onboarding
  • Track team availability and support work allocation
  • Organise team meetings, events and internal communications
  • Support service continuity during holidays
Systems and projects
  • Manage CRM, project management, HRIS and ATS systems
  • Maintain clear processes and standard operating procedures
  • Marketing coordination
  • Support internal projects and service development
Future scope

This role has the scope to grow with the business and be shaped by the right person, including:

  • Becoming a primary client contact
  • Supporting work coordination across the team
  • Involvement in invoicing and light financial administration
