Overview

Grade UE05: £29,588 to £33,951 per annum, pro rata. USG / Governance and Strategic Planning. Part-time: 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE). Fixed term: 12 months.

The Opportunity

We are recruiting a proactive Executive Administrator to be a key member of our Governance and Strategic Planning team of approximately 20 professional staff. Alongside providing PA support to our Director, this role will help keep the department organised: meeting organisation, finance processing, HR processes, and supporting meetings with notes and minutes. This is a fixed-term 12-month, part-time position (0.6 FTE) and flexible/hybrid working arrangements can be discussed. The salary for this post is £29,588 to £33,951 per annum, pro rata.

About the Team

Governance and Strategic Planning comprises Court Services, Strategic Planning and Business Intelligence. The teams work closely with the University and external partners, including the Scottish Funding Council and government agencies. We provide expert advice and guidance, produce strategic analysis and commentary, and support governance through secretariat services and policy advice to senior leadership. We lead the development of the University's strategic planning framework and support the delivery of Strategy 2030 through cohesive planning and performance measures. We deliver information, business intelligence and analysis to inform decision-making and strengthen the University's approach to governance and strategic planning.
