A leading UK university in Bristol seeks a full-time Examinations Co-ordinator to manage and prepare exams scheduling. You will work closely with academics and support teams, ensuring optimal exam experiences for students. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexibly are essential. The role is mainly campus-based with the possibility of home work on some days. This is a fixed-term position, offering generous benefits and a collaborative work environment.
We are looking to appoint an Examinations Co‑ordinator; this role is offered on a fixed‑term basis until 1 October 2026. You will have the opportunity to work alongside dedicated colleagues in CETTS as part of the welcoming and committed Timetabling team.
You will be responsible for the scheduling of exams across the university and in the preparation of the exams timetable for publication to students. You will liaise with academics and colleagues in SPS to ensure that all required examination sessions are scheduled at appropriate times and in suitable rooms. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Disability Service so that agreed reasonable adjustments are considered. As part of this role, you will support UWE’s team of exam invigilators, assisting with the recruitment, communication with and organisation of this important group of colleagues. The key purpose is to enable the best possible exams experience for students.
Your excellent communication skills will allow you to foster constructive working relationships with both your academic and professional services colleagues. You will enjoy the challenge of working to deadlines and be confident in prioritising your workload. We are looking for someone who is confident problem‑solving and can demonstrate the ability to be proactive when required but who is also able to work successfully as part of a team. You will be adaptable and flexible and committed to providing a professional service to all stakeholders.

This is a full‑time, fixed‑term post, working 37 hours per week. Interviews will take place week commencing late January/early February.
