Location : Rotherham

Salary : £12.21 - £13-40 per hour plus holiday pay

Vacancy Type : Permanent, Part time

Hours : Flexible hours (regular availability required)

The Role

They are looking for an invigilator to join their busy exams team at the College.

The role of an exam invigilator is to conduct examination invigilation by ensuring guidelines / regulations are strictly adhered to for integrity of candidates and security of examination papers / login details before, during and after an examination session.

Duties include :

• Preparation of the exam room prior to candidates arriving including logging exam computers into the exam’s platform.
• To check the correct examination papers / login details are present.
• To liaise directly with the Exams Officer / College IT department should issues arise during the exam.
• To ensure that the right candidates attend and check photo identification.
• To explain examination conditions / rules and code of conduct to candidates before the start of the examination in line with the JCQ regulations
• To control the examination environment, appropriate reporting of incidents and ensure a fair and calm process.
