Our Event Technology & Registration team partners with global enterprises and a growing roster of brands. As an Event Technology Project Manager, you will advance innovative and impactful strategies aligned with our event-driven vision.
The Event Technology & Registration Project Manager serves as a lead and consultant on medium- to large-scale in-person and digital events, including marquee engagements with more than 10,000 in-person attendees and up to 200,000 digital participants. Responsibilities include project management of event registration and digital platforms, collaboration with clients and stakeholders to devise effective event experiences (registration tool development, digital platforms, attendee-facing technology suites), oversight of vendors, and active management of attendee registration.
The role encompasses stewardship of the digital experience of events, at times independently and at other times leading a team or partnering with one. The incumbent will lead and supervise Opus staff engaged in event support, ensuring planning schedules are observed, budgets are upheld, Opus processes are implemented, and client expectations are anticipated and surpassed. This is a client-facing position working closely with Opus Project Managers, Technical Architects, and Attendee Support personnel to deliver experiences for Fortune 100 and 500 clients.
This position requires travel to attend events, including air travel and overnight stays. Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required.
